NEGOTIATION SKILLS
The courses creates an open environment for negotiating and lays down the principle that 'Everything is Negotiable'. In the games the students get to test their attitude to negotiating as well as the ability to identify opportunities to negotiate and then to implement their skills to test the results in an educational and realistically environment. This one skill alone has made a profound affect on students when they realize that it takes six attempts on major transactions before most deals are concluded and teaches the students to go back and back and back.

DEAL SELECTION
Evaluation of opportunities is an essential skill for any company employee. There are so many opportunities to be evaluated, the need to to be able to choose between a range of options and make the most powerful decision taking into account the opportunity cost will deliver high performance. The games present multiple choice making situations where the difference between outcomes can significantly alter a companies direction.

34 MiISTAKES TO AVOID
It is very difficult to be successful if you keep losig money in the process of building wealth. We cover 34 main mistakes that occur while investing and how to avoid them so you preserve your capital and build your wealth solidly. Each of these lessons is itself vital for your success together they will reform your investing blueprint to secure your future.

PARTNER SELECTION
A core part of any investor skill set is the ability to select partners. A dysfunctional partnership can wreck a profitable investment and a smooth, championship team can overcome some of the most serious challenges. The course provides powerful team distinctions by utilizing the DISC behavioral profile. There are many opportunities during the course for all the participants to be broken into teams and then put under high pressure to see how they perform when the challenges emerge. Breakdowns occur regularly through the course and are debriefed to see what was the cause, how was it reacted to and what actions need to be made to create more positive results. It promotes the concepts of focused team conflict leading to a consolidated team alignment.

TIME MANAGEMENT
The game compresses time and as a result it is very easy to compare results from one team to another. One team highly focused and performing will dramatically outperform another as wasted time in the game shows up as months wasted in real life. The course is designed to value time as the only non replenishable resource and a key to building a successful corporation.

WIN-WIN RELATIONSHIPS
The relationships in the game are framed in a win-win context. A win-lose context normally leads to lose-lose and when the parties experience this in the game it clearly reinforces the difference in exploitative deals vs long lasting win-win deals. Part of the context of the course is there is the moral slippery slope that as people start to move down it is very hard to restore the relationships. The games bring out people's real emotions, attitudes and actions under pressure and as such we debrief, discuss what was missing and focus on achieving the target.

RAISING CAPITAL
In the courses we discuss about raising capital from various sources including Angel investors, VC, traditional funding as well as through creative financing. These are taught through the games and allow to see how businesses respond when they begin to create extra success or when they hit financial difficulties.

CREATIVE FINANCING
One of the most important skills required is the ability to cover financial shortfalls should they occur. It is said that most small to medium businesses face a cash crises every 90 days. It is in these moments that determine a company's ability to thrive or even survive. We cover topics like supplier financing, buyer financing, private notes, equity partners vs profit sharing.

POWER NETWORKING
One of the most critical skills for any business is the ability to gather quality contacts in your network so that they are available when you need them. Everybody I the business should be building a powerful network for the business. When a supplier is unavailable, a prebuilt backup network can guarantee smooth delivery rather than a crunch time crisis. Building this network is a skill and incredibly valuable.

LEVERAGE
The difference between small business and medium businesses is the ability to leverage the five key factors in the business. They are Skills, Energy, Network, Time and Money ($) or S.E.N.T.$. This is covered through the Cashflow Quadrant taught by Robert Kiyosaki and other tools and which discuss the power of increasing results dramatically through leverage.

CRISIS MANAGEMENT
One of the most important elements taught in the courses is the ability to respond to crisis when they occur. It is not a matter of when, it is just a matter of time. A crisis is a breakdown in a system. 94% of breakdowns are system where as only 6% are actually people. We rate the level of 'Events' on a scale of 1-6 with one being inconsequential through to 6 which is unrecoverable. An example using a sailing metaphor would be 1) Inconsequential - Someone spills the ketchup in the galley 2) Minor - The lights do not work during the day 3) Serious - Someone breaks the Radio 4) Major - Man Overboard 5) Catastrophic - Boom breaks in a storm 6) Unrecoverable - Boat capsizes and starts going under

GOAL STRATEGIES
Perhaps one of the most critical aspects of any investment is knowing where it is going. The setting of goals gives clarity, focus and a sense of purpose. The game creates an environment of chaos or stormy seas, where most people move into reaction rather then responding with a sense of direction and as a result during the debrief we discuss about the need to bring clarity amid the storm.
